What is the ideal place to conduct public seminars/workshops?
a) hotel with lunch package
b) training centre with simple lunch or no lunch
Currently most public seminars/workshops are held in the hotels with lunch package. Cost wise, it will be cheaper if they are held in in-house or dedicated training centre. The cost saving will result in a lower fee. A lower fee means more seminars can be attended in a year with the same amount of training budget.
Putting aside factors such as location accessibility, support services and who pay for the seminar/workshop, which of the above 2 choice do you think is the ideal place to conduct workshops. Assuming that the price for a same one-day workshop is RM60 cheaper if held in training centre as opposed to in hotel, which one will you go to? What are the reasons of your choice?
